Cheyenne Frontier Days at the Nagle Warren Mansion
We will be pleased to assist you in planning your Cheyenne Frontier Days vacation.
Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD)
The festivities begin with the Governor's Art Show. We will be happy to pick up your art show tickets, poster, and program book and have it at the Mansion for you at check-in. The reception starts at 3:00 p.m. the Thursday launching Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Breakfast is served from 7:15 until 10:00 each morning. Dance late at the Depot Plaza, sleep in and have a late breakfast. Or, rise early and go to Slack, a free rodeo at 6:30 a.m. After an early breakfast, walk two blocks to one of the parades and, of course, we have lawn chairs for you.
Wine, tea, water, and nibbles are available in the parlour each afternoon. When you return from the rodeo you can freshen up and join us for complimentary nibbles and wine, iced tea, water, and great conversation with your fellow rodeo fans.
CFD parking is not difficult compared to most events, additionally there is off site parking with convenient shuttle service. There is also shuttle service from the hotels to Frontier Park during established hours (please consult the host for specific times). Some years we are able to purchase a reserved parking space at Frontier Park, which we make available for guest use.
If you would like to Live the Legend and join in the community spirit, ride in the parade with us on Thursday when we host the "Mud Wagon." This very special carriage was built for use as the Cheyenne - Deadwood Stage. It got its name because its wheels are much larger than normal, so it could roll through the winter and spring snow and mud. We start at 8:00 a.m. with mimosas and breakfast and head to the organizing area at 9:00. We are home by noon with plenty of time to make the rodeo.
It is fun being on the inside of the parade looking out and all you need is a Victorian or Western costume to join the fun. Please let us know if you are interested in riding with us.
