Walking Tours

Centered perfectly in town, the Nagle Warren Mansion is just a short jaunt to most of the town's greatest treasures. Historic Downtown, the Rainsford Historic District, and Lakeview Historic Cemetery walking tours are all close by, so you can walk as long or as far as you wish.

Birding in the Cheyenne Area

Birding in Cheyenne includes three IBAs, Curt Goudy State Park, and Vedauwoo a National Forest Recreation Area. Birders will also enjoy the ponds near Wellington and the Pawnee National Grasslands in Colorado. A short drive north you will find the Goshen Hole and Platte River Valley in Wyoming.
