The Warren Mansion B&B Has Been Awarded the Prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award for 1999
The Nagle Warren Mansion B&B is located at 222 East 17th Street in downtown Cheyenne. The home was constructed by Erasmus Nagle, grocer and cattle baron. It was then the home of Francis E. Warren, Businessman, rancher, and U.S. Senator from Wyoming for 37 years. The home is filled with rich original detail including hall ceilings, woodwork, hardare, brass and bronze fireplaces, tiles, and inlaid floors.
Today, Innkeeper Jim Osterfoss and his staff welcome guests to the 12 guest room bed and breakfast. Some are business travelers, some are celebrating an event such as an anniversary or birthday, and some are here for conferences. "We enjoy each guest," Osterfoss says. In addition to the rich history, individually decorated rooms, and full gourmet breakfast, the guests will find the hot tub in a gazebo and the workout center add to their stay. Additionally, guests can arrange for a massage or enjoy English high tea.
"AAA Four Diamond winners are a cut above the rest as they consistently deliver a truly memorable experience, complete with superior personal service, quality amenities, and an unforgettable ambiance," said C. Wesley Choc, President and CEO of AAA Mountain West.
AAA's team of 60 full-time professional field inspectors visit more than 800 establishments each year. AAA inspectors conduct unannounced evaluations, assigning a rating of One to Five Diamond to qualifying establishments. The Nagle Warren Mansion B&B joins four other Four Diamond properties in Wyoming and eight properties in Colorado.
The Four Diamond Awards were presented at the Wyoming Homestay and Outdoor Adventures (WHOA) and the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association meeting in Casper April 19, 1999.
